Brief Bio
Over the last twenty-two years, Dr. Richardson has served as a consultant and administrator primarily in the field of education and business owner. As her success grew in developing successful business plans for early learning centers, she began to expand her work beyond the field of early education by assisting countless others in the pursute of their “Big Idea”. From the moment you meet Dr. Richardson, she possesses a passion for helping businesses succeed. Whether it was working for a faith-based school or within a corporate setting, she has spent a significant part of her career taking organizations that were struggling for one reason or another, and turning them into high quality programs, with strong teams, that were fiscally responsible. Shelta has implemented policies and procedures that have a proven track-record for success. She has partnered with individuals as they start new companies…walking them through the groundbreaking process to grand opening.

Dr. Richardson holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership and two Master’s Degrees: one in Business Administration and the other in Education. Servant leadership is her passion. It is her belief that every person has a God-given dream that should be pursued. In fact, it is her hope and desire that her work will successfully transition a dream into a reality. Dr. Richardson uses her consulting firm (I-Cube Consulting) to work with women who want to start their schools or businesses. She teaches and mentors them on all aspects of owning a business from HR, Financials, operations, labor management, crisis management, servant leadership, etc. Dr. Richardson is the principal founder and CEO of The Academy of Early Learning. The Academy of Early Learning is a not-for-profit early learning center located in Louisiana and Alabama.
